Emergency Housing

The Cherished House is a 30-60 day safe and stable place for women in crisis.

If you have nowhere to go, you are welcome here.

One of the hardest places to be is when you want out, but don’t know what to do next. Especially if others have said no, Valiant Hearts can say yes.

Know that you’re not alone. We offer emergency stabilization for women just like you. We’re a safe and welcoming place to go.

We stand in the housing gap, a bridge between trafficking, prostitution, or stripping and new beginnings.

We help women start their journey towards healing. There is so much to look forward to on the other side!

Women find us through advocacy groups, law enforcement, word-of-mouth, or just searching for a way out.

Many women need a short-term home, a critical gap often overlooked. Our average stay is 30 days.

We help our residents move onto transitional living, restoration homes, or whatever next step they need most.

"Within the first 48 hours of staying in the Emergency House, I felt so much joy around that it made me both excited and hopeful for the future. The Care Provider on site had an excitement that was contagious and motivated me to move forward."
